Michael brings a unique set of skills to Classic Adventures. His fluency in German and French, coupled with a love of travel and bicycling, make him a great addition to our guide team.
Michael's formal education includes a B.A. from Amherst College and a master's degree in art history.

If someone is nervous about taking their first bike trip abroad or even in the US go with these people (Classic)! If you are anxious about not being fully supported, go with Classic; they will take really good care of you, your physical and emotional well being... and all your stuff!

Thank you for a lovely bike tour. It was so good to learn about the Historic Erie Canal - what a great group.
I liked that each day's cycling was "cycle at your own pace." The dinners and breakfasts were terrific. The select group dinners gave the tour a nice social aspect.
I want you to know that I really enjoyed my excursion to New York-Hudson Valley. The trip went so well, I thought to the credit of Lisa and Steve. They did a great job in taking care of us. It was a good group to ride with. Accommodations were great as usual & the weather was really good as well. I hope to plan another trip with you sometime soon.
